And She Has Arrived!
Yesterday I noticed that the Belly Baby hadn't really been moving. So, during Nap time I sat down, ate lunch and had a large ice water...nothing not even an elbow to the side. So I ate an orange in hopes the sugar would get her going...nothing!
I got nervous so I called my OB. She said due to my other symptoms this past week (throwing and severe exhaustion) she wanted to take the baby ASAP. They were concerned the placenta was giving out.
Andy came home, I got the kids to a friends (thank you Bonnie!), and Grandma and Grandpa headed over from Austin.
We checked into the hospital just before 4pm and Dr. Peterson broke my waters about 5:30. It was a crazy ride seeing that due to past experiences I opted out of the Epidural. All I can say is who ever came up with this as the method of bringing new life into the world must be a man or just plain twisted!
The crazy ride ended at 1:34 am, Thursday July 15, 2010 and there in our arms we had one of the most beautiful little monsters.

Emilia Irene 20 1/4 inches and 8 lbs 7 oz
So tired, So proud, and So Happy
She scored a 8/9 on her APGAR!

I think she looks a lot like William (his eyes--though hers are still a dark blue)
She has huge feet and a big mouth like her Big Sister Claira,
and a cute little nose like Big Sister AbyKate
This afternoon everyone came to the hospital to meet the new little lady.
They were all so eager to hold her.
They can't wait to bring her home tomorrow!

Super Tot
About a month ago Claira started back at Gymnastics. She is so excited, she hasn't stopped begging to go since we stopped last year. This time they put her an 'advanced' class called Super Tots. Its for kids who don't need so much coordination development and are ready to start learning gymnastic skills.
Her favorite activity is the balance beam. She is planning on asking Grandpa to make her one for her birthday...you hear that Dennis!
Here she is jumping on the lower beam
I also think she loves that her coach is guy and it is all girls in her class. I love that there are only 3 other girls they really get good personal attention from Coach Larry.
I didn't get a picture of her doing a hand stand but she has been working very hard at it and I think soon she will have it!

Boys went fishing...
and look who caught a fish!
He was so happy as was his Daddy and Mr. Gabe. But it was too small to bring home to cook so he let it go in hopes of catching a larger one.
Sparing!
Now that William is an orange belt he is able to attend 'Sparing' class on Saturday afternoons. He is so cute in his little marshmallow man outfit. He can hardly walk in it and you should see him try to sit down...funny stuff. He is loving it!
Here is a little video of him sparing with a crazy girl who just kicks and kicks and kicks...they are supposed to be learning strategies and William gets very frustrated when he ends up paired up with this little lady.

Happy 4th of July!
It was hot, it was muddy, but it was a great weekend. The neighborhood started off the weekend with a party. There was lots of activities...

Go Mets!
Saturday was William's first T-Ball game. I don't know who's idea was it to have a summer league in Texas but I think we might be even crazier for joining it, ITS HOT! But you know that didn't stop the little guy from having a great time, nor did it stop his Daddy from coaching or us girls from cheering him on. GO WILLIAM!!!
They only had one good practice before the first game because the second one was rained out 10 minutes after it got started. William over heard Andy tell me, "they are not ready" and said, "yes we are!" I then said, "I'm sure you'll do great. So tell me, what do you do after you hit the ball?" William smiles and says, "you put the bat down and chase after the ball!" Andy just shook his head as I bust up laughing :)
