I can't believe that it has been a month already since Easter was here. Where does the time go! Better late then never...
For Easter we went to Grandma & Grandpa's house in Leander, TX. We love going there, they have bikes, hiking trails, and soon it will be warm enough to go to their pool with waterfalls! We also get to visit with Great Grandma, she lives in Georgetown and has a very fun pool that is heated!
Easter Day began with an egg on the dinning room table that lead the kids on a scavenger hunt full of clues that together they had to figure out. Some were pictures, some were words for William to sound out. Together William and Claira figured out that the last clue was describing a bath tub. While they ran upstairs to their bathtub we told AbyKate to run into Grandma's room. There in the tub was their baskets!
William was so eager to tear into his that I didn't get a picture of him.
After our hunt was breakfast and time to play with our new dress up stuff, foam swords and of course indulge in a Cadbury Creme Egg. Then off to church we went. AbyKate and I spent most of the time outside running all her wiggles out in the misty morning air, while the rest of the gang enjoyed the music of mass.
On the way home I was so excited, my little family humored me and stopped at a field of blue bonnets, they are the Texas state flower and everyone takes spring pictures with them.
