I'm a Cowboy!

Yesterday was a day of visitors, cousins and friends they all came into town for 'Old Santa Ynez Days' and for a good old 'Santa Maria BBQ'. There was a parade, train rides, booths, food etc. it was a blast! William even got an air brush Tattoo of a scorpion so he could be like my friend Randy (he has several real ones on his arms, shoulders & back). At the end of the day everyone was stuffed and tired. Needless to say the kids are still tired, in fact William is falling asleep next to me eating his spaghetti dinner (thank you Mr. John, leftovers are as good as the first night!) and its only 5:45!
Train ride at the festival
Silly cousin...
Papa's famous BBQ ribs, pool side!

Nothing like ending the day with a warm bubble bath, with the dog!

Today was a sort of calm day here at Rocking Rose Ranch (the name of my parents ranch) Everyone left this morning but me and the kids. William had so much fun riding Shamus, he calls it 'his horse' when in reality Shamus is a 35 year old mule. Horse, Mule which ever he will miss is old pal when its time to leave.

Claira has found horse pal as well!

Today William also had a break through!  He swam across the width of the pool, NO FLOATIES, all by himself!  He jumped in from the side, came up for air and kept on swimming!!!  I was so proud :)  Claira too is kicking her little self all around the pool in her little froggy jacket, she can spin in a circle too (she is very proud of this talent).
