My good friend, Rachel, picked me up on Saturday in THE JEEP! I say it like that because being 9 months pregnant riding in a bouncy, no doors jeep, with my hair flying all over must have been a sight! Our husbands were worried I was going to go be too hot, seeing its around 100! But it turns out that was the least of our worries...
As we shopped around the sidewalk sale and got a few things done, a thunderstorm rolled in. And just our luck for the first time in months this thunderstorm brought rain. Not just normal rain, but raindrops the size of basketballs!!! We ran to the jeep like it was going to give us shelter. We jumped in water dripping down the seat belts, rain coming in my doorway sideways, then we were shocked when we pulled out of our parking spot and pools of water that had accumilated on our soft canopy DUMPED on us!!! We thought we looked silly before. Now we were giggling, drowned rats what a sight we must have been!
