Several times over the last year and half Andy and our neighbor Tim have been attempting some home brew. The first time was good, the second was ok, the third was so horrible I couldn't even use it to cook chili! This last time it was PERFECT! It takes them an afternoon to sterilize, 'cook'...
...and monitor temperatures
...and one week later they come back to bottle
then all these bottles get stored in Andy's closet for 6 weeks.
When 6 weeks have gone by, they finally get to 'pop' the first one open! Mind you it is best if they wait even longer then that, but after 6 weeks of waiting they have to just try it and see!

It turned out so good, their talking about brewing another batch.I can tell Andy has enjoyed this last batch because he savors every bottle he opens. When the bottle 'pops' a grin always spreads across his face...then he takes a sip and says, "Try that". I think he has found a new hobby!
