Splash Pad Park

It is finally open! We have been driving by periodically, thanks to William's frequent requests, watching the construction of Clay Boyd Splash Park all Summer. Yesterday was the long awaited Grand Opening! But due to a very loud thunderstorm we passed and today after naps Andy and I took the kids. They had so much fun, it was all they had been hoping for. Check it out...

There is the HUGE daisy

Small fountains

and a silly squirting turtle

Then there is the PARK!

Claira thought these see-saw things were great

When she got to the top (ALL BY HERSELF!) she put her arms up in the air and yelled,

"I DID IT!"

Looks like we're going to be spending many afternoons at the new park...good thing it is only a few miles from the house.
